Eyewear Care Guide

Keep your eyewear clear, protected and ready for every day. A little care goes a long way.

Clean gently

Rinse away dust and grit with lukewarm water before cleaning. Use a small drop of mild, lotion-free soap, gently clean the lenses and frame, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid household cleaners, solvents and abrasive products. Follow any care instructions supplied with your eyewear.

Wipe with care

Dry gently with a clean, soft microfibre lens cloth. Never rub dusty lenses or use clothing, tissues or paper towels. Wash your cloth regularly without fabric softener and let it air-dry.

Store safely

Use a protective case when your eyewear is not in use. Keep lenses facing upwards if you set the frame down, and avoid loose storage alongside keys or other hard objects.

Avoid heat

Keep eyewear away from dashboards, parked cars, radiators and hot water. Excessive heat can affect frames and lens coatings.

Prevent scratches

Remove eyewear with both hands and avoid placing it lens-down. Rinse off sand and grit before wiping. These habits help reduce scratches; no lens should be treated as scratch-proof.

Travel protected

Pack eyewear in a protective, preferably hard-shell case. Keep it away from heavy items and carry a clean microfibre cloth. After beach trips, rinse off salt and sand with fresh lukewarm water before drying.
